13 months 3 weeks and 6 day Checkup!

YOU'VE COME A LONG LONG WAY BABY!

Well Drew had his "12 month" check up today. Slacker parents that we are were finally able to get it for him! In our defense we were outta our "network" for the whole summer and had to wait til we could check in here and then get an actual available date to be seen! Still its pathetic we know! :) His newest stats: 24 lbs and 10 oz(roughly 11.2 kilos!) thats between 50 and 75%(so he is average weight) His height was I think 31? or 30 inches..that was above average-shocking since mommy and daddy are average heights! His head...WAY above average was 19! She said he goes average weight..then height then a BIG head! Maybe thats why everyone thinks he is so big! But overall he is in great health and passed his "milestones" testing. Go Drew!

Drew got a tiny belated bday present.

Like his good friend Gracie he is now the proud owner a CAR! Smiles tell it all! He will entertain himself forever on this thing! Look for a video that truly funny! He also figured out how to take the horn off, put his hand on the tires while we are driving and when that fails he will put his feet out to drag along the sidewalk. CRAZY KID!

He is getting so big and changing everyday. He is into his trucks from his Friends in Aussie. His new pig bank. Daddys wine chiller. Driving whatever wheel he can get behind. Throwing fits getting into his car seat. Smiling at his hero..his daddy. He has been going to bed like a dream. I think he is glad to be outta the same room with us as well. He loves loves loves being outside and driving he new car. He is a happy baby..kid..and we love him!

We have hope for Grass..

Well it still doesn't look like much but there is new evidence of grass living in there every day..

this side area is getting more green then anywhere else. NICE! I can't wait til it looks like our neighbors.

I actually captured on film Drew falling. Didnt even realize I had done it til I uploaded the pics. He took a real fall tonight from a sitting position even. Jason and I were standing right there smiling at him and he was looking at us then BOOM unto the concrete..with even a thud! He has a nice little bruise ! Nothing that cold freezer fruit did the trick! It was even Grape Flavored Ashley! He went right back out and started playing again.

ICE SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!

I remember this stuff! A bona fide .25 cent cone of ice cream just made Drew's day! He has his first very own cone!

AND was just zoned on it he wouldnt even make EYE contact!

AND then shoved it all in there and wanted more!

I feel like I am watching a wild animal eat its dinner!

Drews New Room!

The former owners painted this for their son and we just decided to keep it for the time being. It does have stripes and everyone knows I love STRIPES! :)

Home Sweet Home

Well thats three more crates then last time...Drew has alot of Furniture! Like the grass?

Can I help hang curtains? He snuck up on this in about two seconds! We turned around to seem him very proud of himself!

He loves the dirt as much as his sand..think he just likes to get messy!

This is one of a quite a few flower beds in need of weeding...or a major overhaul! We worked for many hours this week to make the yard look like someone lives here again. Look for before and after photos later. This is right by our front door!

You should see it now..way better! Post later..

This is the overgrowth onto the sidewalk! Awful pain in the arse to cut and so overgrown we were just about speechless. Apparently the house was sitting empty longer then we thought..this stuff can grow without water yet the grass is brown.

We made it HOME to Temecula on Friday Sept 5th. We have been finding our way around and settling into our home. NOT too many road bumps. The weather has been gorgeous! More pics later!

Drew was worn out and couldnt stay awake while we were checking out the sites!

He thought this tree was cool!

Too cool for shades..and no he doesnt keep them on!

He wanted to walk around and Daddy thought that was just a little too dangerous!

This was his face as we turned on an Elmo video..he really wasnt into it after about 5 mins but he does find kicking it interesting and he is afraid of..really afraid of..Grover!

He also thinks its funny to roll the window down with his toes!
