House Hunting Craziness!

Friends and Family,
I write this post half asleep after looking at so many houses in our future city that I have a difficult time remembering my own initial wants! I have looked at about 60 houses..WOW...even sounds like a lot to me!!! I have to say we have an offer going in tomorrow morning that we are optimistic about but also realistic that its going to be be a bit of a hassle to get it. Its a bank owned house in great shape a little further East then we we had initially looked but hoping it will become our home. Please keep us in your thoughts and when we finally have the keys in our hands one day we will post pics!
Wish us luck!!!

1st Annual Marine Corps Historical HALF Marathon

Jason was kind enough to walk with me for the Marine Corps Historical Half Marathon in Fredericksburg

, VA. My hope and plans of jogging went out the window! We made an okay time of 3:20. Hopefully some more pics coming soon!

We Be Jamming!!!!!!!!!!!!

ATTENTIOM: SEE post below marked Strawberry Fields Forever to understand why we had to JAM!

My Mom and I thought we would just make some Jam since we had so many strawberries! Little did we know it would make us stay up til 1 AM and require 3 trips in total to the grocery for supplies! ( and even more money!)

Not sure what time of night this was but it sure smelled good when we made the Jam!

One of our first batches...

All our jars when we were done...42 in total!

Everyone got to eat some on toast the next morning..but Drew!

I had a fabulous time making the Jam with my Mom and I am actually thinking I might do it again...next year!
